Chinese Ambassador to Guyana, Guo Haiyan, formally presented her Letter of Credence to Kenyan President William Ruto at a ceremony in Nairobi
During the ceremony, Ambassador Guo conveyed her commitment to fostering deeper cooperation between the two nations. She expressed China’s desire to enhance bilateral ties in various fields, including trade, infrastructure development, cultural exchange, and technological innovation. In response, President Ruto warmly welcomed Ambassador Guo to Kenya, acknowledging the deep and longstanding relationship between Kenya and China. He emphasized that Kenya values its partnership with China, which has been instrumental in the country’s development, particularly in the areas of infrastructure, energy, and education. President Ruto noted that China’s support for Kenya’s development initiatives has been vital in advancing the country’s vision for economic transformation.
