Guard Jalen Reece, a 6-foot-0 point guard from Orlando, Florida, and shooting guard Mazi Mosley, a 6-foot-5 standout from Montverde Academy, have both pledged to join the Tigers.
Reece, ranked 49th nationally by Rivals, averaged 16 points, 4.3 rebounds, and 3.5 steals per game during his junior year at Oak Ridge High School. Known for his exceptional court vision and playmaking abilities, he chose LSU over offers from more than 15 schools, including Providence and Cincinnati. Reece expressed his belief that LSU offers the best pathway to achieving his NBA aspirations, citing the successful transitions of former Tigers like Ben Simmons and Antonio Blakeney to the professional ranks.
Mosley, ranked 60th by Rivals, brings impressive size and skill to the Tigers’ backcourt. Standing at 6-foot-5, he averaged 10.6 points, 5.1 rebounds, and 2.1 assists per game during his time at Montverde Academy. Mosley selected LSU over top programs such as Iowa, Michigan, and USC, drawn by the team’s culture and the coaching staff’s vision. His commitment adds to a growing list of top-tier recruits joining LSU, including Matt Gilhool, who ranked as the No. 1 player in Pennsylvania.
