Aston Villa has firmly decided to retain their promising Colombian striker, Jhon Durán, despite receiving significant interest from numerous clubs. Reports indicate that the club turned down approximately 40 transfer bids for the 20-year-old talent, with Chelsea notably offering over £40 million during the summer transfer window.

Unai Emery, Aston Villa’s manager, is steadfast in his belief that Durán possesses the potential to evolve into one of the world’s premier strikers within the next year. This conviction has been echoed by the club’s president of football operations, Ramón Rodríguez Verdejo, commonly known as Monchi. Monchi stated, “Unai is very confident with Jhon Durán.
