ALLEN PARK – The Detroit Lions have been a healthy team heading into the final stretch, and they got a little healthier Thursday.
There is no question that right tackle Penei Sewell has been promoted to full practice participant and will be available for the big game against the Minnesota Vikings.
Sewell hasn’t missed a snap since his rookie season, but this week he battled soreness in his shoulder and sat out Wednesday.

1 offensive tackle in the league, allowing just one sack all season, according to Pro Football Focus.
“He was a hell of a player the first two years, but I think he got some coaching points – and that was a small thing for him, because he was already one of the league’s top tacklers after his second year.
