Nottingham Forest are reportedly close to completing their first deal under manager Nuno Espirito Santo.
Forest beat old club Newcastle United 3-1 at St James’ Park, scoring a hat-trick from Chris Wood as Forest celebrated their first win since arriving at the club on Boxing Day.
This result moves the club past Everton into 16th place.
As the season approaches in January, Nuno will be looking to sign players to turn the club’s season around.
And he seems to be wasting his time eyeing potential targets.
