Shrewsbury Town have terminated Luton midfielder Elliot Thorpe’s loan contract after the Hatters youngster suffered a new back injury.

“When we signed him, I knew he was going to be an important part of what we do this season, because it would have been great to know him as well as I have and to help the group.
