Brighton are planning to sign Greek superstar Giannis Konstanterias, according to Football Insider’s sources.
The Premier League club has named the highly-rated PAOK Salonica attacker as one of their top targets in the January transfer window.
The Seagulls have expressed interest in potentially signing Constanterias, whose contract runs until the summer of 2027.
Brighton The 20-year-old has scored four goals and provided two assists in 15 Greek Super League appearances this season, with seven goals and four assists in all competitions.
He has also appeared in four games for the Greek senior national team since joining them last year, scoring one goal.
The versatile attacker has played both in attacking midfield and on the left wing this season.
Konstanterias started 10 of the 16 games in total and helped lead PAOK to the top of the Greek First Division.
He had a successful season this season in his European league, where he started in three games and qualified undefeated as Group G champions.
Constanterias joined PAOK in 2013 and to date he has made 73 appearances in all competitions.
Brighton Brighton finished seventh in the Premier League with a 0-0 draw against West Ham United on Tuesday (2nd January) and will face Stoke City in the FA Cup on Saturday (6th January).
