Wolves midfielder Luke Kandle will undergo a medical on Tuesday morning (January 9) after agreeing terms to join Stoke City, a source has told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old was recalled from his loan spell with Championship side Plymouth Argyle on Monday (January 8) after the Premier League club exercised the release clause in his contract.
Fluid logo Kandol will now join the second-division club on loan for the remainder of the season after reaching a permanent agreement with Steven Schumacher’s side.
Wolves The signing of his attacking midfielder is seen as a major coup for the Potters following his impressive first half of the season at Argyle.
He played in 27 games in all competitions, playing central midfield, attacking midfield and as a striker, scoring 5 goals and providing 6 assists.
Cundle scored the opening goal in Argyle’s 3-1 win over Second Division side Sutton United on Saturday (6th January), and was ruled out of the Premier League game against Crystal Palace in the League Cup in August.
