Celtic FC are delighted to announce the signing of talented goalkeeper Lisa Rodgers, who joins the Hoops from fellow SWPL club Hearts.
This is 17-year-old Elena Sadik’s first contract since she was appointed as the club’s new head coach, as the young player has a two-and-a-half year contract.
Rodgers graduated from the Academy at Hearts and she was promoted to the first team at the age of 15.
The goalscorer made her debut at this age in the Edinburgh derby at Tynecastle Stadium in March 2022.
Last season Rodgers was also on loan at SWPL2 club Boroughmuir Thistle, where she played in the fourth round match against Celtic.

That’s because she appeared in front of a record crowd at Hearts at Paradise’s final game of 2011.
The youngster has distinguished himself from an early age and has won 16 caps for Scotland at youth level, including 11 for the Under-19s.
Lisa Rogers will join Elena Sadik’s team after completing her move to Glasgow in January.
The club would also like to wish goalkeeper Rachel Johnston, who will join Hearts permanently as part of the deal, all the best for the future.
