The former Detroit Lions cornerback, who was waived by the team over the weekend, is scheduled to be arraigned Tuesday on four charges related to a crash that seriously injured a teammate.
Wayne County Prosecutor Kim Worthy on Monday charged Alex Brown with two counts of DUI causing serious injury and two counts of reckless driving causing serious injury.
Mr.
Brown is scheduled to be arraigned on Tuesday.

Levi Onwuzurike Returns ] Prosecutors say Brown, a Detroit resident, was involved in a crash on Interstate 75 southbound near Interstate 375 in Detroit around 1:444 p.m.
Sunday.
He was arrested after colliding with a 27-year-old man’s car.
He injured his leg in a head-on collision.

Brown is accused of being “intoxicated and driving at excessive speed on the wrong side of the highway” at the time of the accident.
His agent, Jordan Byrd, declined to comment Monday.
Former Lions tight end Charlie Tormoepaugh, who was a passenger in Brown’s car, was injured and taken to a local hospital.
Prosecutors said Taumoepoh, whose name was not released at the time of his release, was removed with life-threatening force, placed on his backboard and placed in a brace around his neck.
He was taken to a local hospital.
Lions Camp Observations: Long drives, limited points key to offense His agent, Cleo Floyd, said Taumoepo likely has broken ribs but should make a full recovery.

“All signs point to him being OK,” Floyd said.
“It’s not serious, it’s not fatal, but he was injured.
” The Lions waived Taumoepou, who suffered a non-football injury, after Monday’s practice.
If Taumoepou is removed from his exemption, he will return to the reserve/non-football list.
“We are aware of the situation with Alex Brown on Sunday morning,” the Lions said in a statement.
“Alex was released from the team on Sunday afternoon and Charlie Tormoepaugh is receiving appropriate treatment following the injuries sustained in the incident.
“Drink driving is a matter that we take very seriously.
“As an organization, we direct our thoughts and support to victims and their families as they recover.
