21 From Steelers to Horns Former Pittsburgh Steelers standout defensive back William Gay has been hired by the Texas Longhorns as a senior defensive back analyst, he announced on his Instagram on Saturday.
Gay spent two different stints with the Steelers, from 2007 to 2011 and from 2013 to 2017, helping Pittsburgh win Super Bowl XLIII.
He played a total of 11 years in his NFL, and in all 11 of his seasons he appeared in 16 games, during which he started 101 games.
He finished his career with 13 interceptions, 577 tackles, 87 pass deflections, and 5 defensive scores.
Three of those times were in his 2014 year.
Gay he retired from the NFL in 2017.

This situation continued Sunday as Robinson made a 71-yard touchdown catch from Desmond Ridder to give the Falcons a 14-7 lead over the Saints in the first quarter.
Robinson caught the ball in the flat and took it 68 yards after the catch, outrunning the entire Saints defense and reaching the end zone.
Entering Week 18, Robinson had 203 carries for 948 yards and four touchdowns, including 51 catches for 384 yards and three scores.
After the touchdown catch, Robinson is 42 yards away from eclipsing 1,000 yards on the ground and 39 yards from eclipsing 500 yards receiving this season.

The Miami Dolphins had two interceptions in a 30-0 victory over the New York Jets on Sunday at Hard Rock Stadium.
With the Dolphins already holding a big lead in the second half, Jones faced off against Jets quarterback Trevor Siemian in the secondary, celebrating as two late picks landed in Jones’ arms.

the New Orleans Saints.
He reached the Atlanta Falcons’ end zone in the game.
A touchdown early in the second quarter gave the Falcons a 14-6 lead over their district rival.
