Mamelodi Sundowns have completed the signing of Argentine midfielder Matias Esquivel, his club Atlético Lanús has confirmed.
The 24-year-old midfielder has been linked with a big-money move for the Brazilian for some time, and now his club has confirmed the move!
Matias Esquivel arrived in Johannesburg at the weekend and is reportedly expected to be announced by the club this week.
Mamelodi Sundowns have already brought in defender Zuko Mdunyelwa from Chippa United as their first new signing in the January transfer window.

This comes after a string of promising performances at Romanian giants FCSB after joining the club at the start of the season.
FCSB has reportedly rejected an offer of R105 million from Lorient for Gezana.
As negotiations drag on, the Kaizer Chiefs academy graduate has already returned to Romania and is preparing for tomorrow’s match against UTA Arad.
