This was a really good point for the Wolves considering their recent struggles against the Seagulls.
Wolves were also without key players such as Juan, Rayan Ato Nouri and Joao Gomez.
That’s a solid result and this point could be important at the end of the season.
Wolves’ defense was really impressive last night – and there was also a top-notch performance from Nelson Semedo, which has actually been happening fairly regularly this season.

However, Semedo also performed very well as a right-back.

In the first half, Semedo meticulously defended a dangerous through ball to Joao Pedro, which Jose Sa came up to collect.
And in the second half, Pedro went close to scoring again and looked certain to fire a shot into the Wolves goal from inside the penalty area, but Semedo managed to get back and make a decisive block.
The 30-year-old, who played 20 Premier League games last night, has struggled in this game recently.
Kaoru Mitoma caused him big trouble in a previous meeting.
However, the Japan international was unable to play last night and Semedo seemed happy about that and put in a good performance for the Wanderers.
Semedo is quietly having a great season.
Most of the discussion this season has revolved around the attackers, with Neto, Cunha and Juan all enjoying success under Gary O’Neill.
Fan players in particular have grown significantly under O’Neal.
But the time has come for Semedo to receive the flowers.
He may actually be the Wolves’ most improved player under O’Neal.
Although his time at Molineux hasn’t exactly impressed, Semedo is currently playing his best football since joining from Barcelona in a £29m deal in the summer of 2020.
There were only a few games this season where he didn’t play well.
O’Neill clearly loves him.
That is evidenced by the fact that he has missed only three games in all competitions throughout the season.
Semedo is now playing with real maturity and consistency, and his defensive actions look much improved.
In fact, recent statistics show that his tackle success rate is his second highest in the world.
