Rangers face Sima hijack as Brighton bidding war possiber

Rangers loanee Abdallah Sima is attracting interest from rival



clubs in the Premier League and top five European leagues, sources have told Football Insider.

Sima, 22, has impressed on loan at Ibrox in the 2023-24 campaign and will have one year remaining on his contract with parent club Brighton this summer.

But it is believed the Senegal international is being monitored by several clubs from the English top-flight and elite European sides.
Multiple clubs have watched the forward in action for Rangers this term.

Rangers are unable to match some of the huge transfer fees and salary offers in England and Europe and could therefore miss out on a permanent deal for the Brighton man.Sources say the Premier League outfit value Sima at between £10-15million – but that valuation could be driven up if there is a bidding war for his services.

The versatile forward has notched 16 goals and two assists in 35 appearances across all competitions this term.
